Hollywood super couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have shelled out a whopping $140,000 on a luxury nursery for their twins.
The pair, who are set to welcome their fifth and six children later this month, have reportedly hired exclusive Los Angeles baby boutique Petit Tresor to design a suite for their twins, which are widely reported to be daughters.
The couple are believed to have purchased two pink crystal chandeliers worth $899 each; $3,200 ‘Versailles-style’ cribs; and matching $2,800 changing tables; organza bassinets worth $800; and $4,500 French wardrobes.
The movie stars also splashed out on cashmere baby toys for their unborn babies.
A team of three Petit Tresor staff were hired to assemble the nursery, according to the New York Daily News newspaper.
Brad and Angelina already have three adopted children, six-year-old Maddox; four-year-old Pax; and Zahara, three, along with a two-year-old biological daughter Shiloh.
Jolie, 32, recently revealed that she has always doubted her parenting skills and she never planned on having any biological children — because she never thought she was “stable enough” to be a mother.
She said, “I went through a lot of my youth really thinking that I was never going to be stable enough and calm enough to be a parent. I always loved children but didn’t know if I would ever be a good mom.
“What surprised me was that I never planned on having children biologically. There were children who needed a home and I had no maternal desire to have children, but that changes when you meet someone you love and so your family changes in direction.”
