Locals in the French village beset with photographers since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie moved in are taking their revenge by feeding the paparazzi lies.
For every fictitious story picked up by the insatiable appetite of the world’s media the instigator gets a free glass of pastis.

Since ‘Brangelina’ arrived the Provençal village of Correns has been anything but the peaceful bolthole the couple had so desired.

“They came here to find some peace and instead there are paparazzi at the gate day and night, it’s really unbearable,” said Christine, a local winemaker.

Angelina Jolie has cooed about partner Brad Pitt in one of the final interviews the actress has given before becoming a mum again.

As tabloids and gossip sites report the couple is struggling to stay together, Jolie insists nothing could be further from the truth - and she knows she has picked the right man to father her kids and spend the rest of her life with.

She says, “I’m very lucky - I’m with a man who makes me feel very sexy pregnant and loves children… He’s an extremely hands-on dad.

“Any woman knows that when you’re pregnant, if you have a partner who is embracing it (pregnancy) with you, it makes all the difference. I’m very lucky to have him.”

The discovery of a chapel on the grounds of the private wine estate Pitt and Jolie have leased for the summer (08) has prompted gossips to speculate the pair may wed.

Brad Pitt meets up with his Fight Club costar Ed Norton to catch a Radiohead concert together at Civica Arena in Milan, Italy on Wednesday night. Norton has said, “Brad and I had a mutual fixation on the second two Radiohead albums.” Also at the concert was Mariane Pearl, Brad and Angelina Jolie’s close friend. (Angie starred as Pearl in 2007’s A Mighty Heart.)
