Brad Pitt found himself on the receiving end of his own security detail last night in Los Angeles.

At the premiere of Pitt’s new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the actor was grabbed by a plainclothes security guard hired to protect him, reports People magazine.

Paparazzi swarmed Pitt as he arrived a half hour early for the screening but instead of dealing with the photographers, the security guard grabbed, pushed and spun Pitt around before pulling him backwards.?

The actor rode out the hubbub hiding in a bathroom after breaking free from the guard and having words with him. It is unknown what future awaits the manhandling guard. ?

Pitt downplayed the incident, telling People magazine: “Though [the paparazzi] were exceptionally more aggressive than usual, breaking through a security barrier and into a private holding area, ultimately [it was] just another day in the life…”
