According to Women’s Wear Daily, the exclusive photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, sold 2.6 million copies!

“The issue is the biggest seller in seven years, and is the fourth highest newsstand seller in the magazine’s 35-year history, behind the Sept. 11 issue (4.1 million single copies), the issue covering Princess Diana’s death (3 million) and the one covering the death of John F. Kennedy Jr. (2.8 million). The June 19, 2006 issue with the exclusive baby pictures of Brad and Angelina’s first daughter, Shiloh, moved 2.2 million newsstand copies (perhaps the extra Pitt-Jolie baby provided a bigger draw this time).”

Brad Pitt is teaming with Kiehl’s, a beauty products company, for a good, green cause. And in doing so, the star is putting his unique spin on the concept of the celebrity endorsement!
Pitt’s famous face and name will be nowhere to be found on any of the beauty firm’s commercials or skin, hair and body care goods, says New York magazine. Save for his handwriting reproduced on a new product, he figures in via a purely philanthropic role.

George Clooney has revealed he’d be willing to strip off if he looked more like Brad Pitt.

The Hollywood hunk, 47, says he would happily pose in his underwear if he was “built” like his Ocean’s 13 co-star.

“It wouldn’t look good for me, particularly in my boxers,” he says.

“If I was built like Brad Pitt I’d do it all the time. Wouldn’t you?”

The Leatherheads star also said he admires what Pitt, 44, does to help others, particularly the relief work he and partner Angelina Jolie, 33, are doing for the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

Brad Pitt enjoyed a guys night out away from partner Angelina Jolie and their six children/ A witness says Pitt drank several glasses of wine as he ate caviar, lobster and filet mignon.

“Brad seemed happy to be free. He was out until after midnight and never checked in with his family once,” says an onlooker. “In fact, he didn’t text of call anyone the whole night!”

Pitt has been on daddy-duty since Jolie gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne on July 12.

“He’s still an independent guy. He dotes on Angelina and the kids, but if he didn’t save alone time for himself, he would go crazy!” says the source.

Pitt has signed on to play Aldo, aka “Aldo the Apache,” in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming World War II film, “Inglorious Bastards,” about a handpicked group of American-Jewish soldiers who kill Nazis in brutal and violent ways in order to undermine the Third Reich. Pitt’s character has “the Apache” moniker due to his signature move of scalping Nazi soldiers.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the film features “vintage Tarantino moments,” such as “the director’s now-classic use of the Mexican standoff, in which multiple characters are at an impasse pointing guns at each other.”

While the screenplay is not perfect, “even the mistakes are entertaining,” said one insider who read the script.
